The Objectives of Community Futures Entre-Corp
- Promote entrepreneurship by supporting new and expanding businesses with loans, counselling and business information resources.
- Provide quality small business training to the region. Encourage partnerships in training to increase the capacity of business in Southeast Alberta. Self-Start, Evening Seminars, Export Training, Brown Bag Series (Video Conferencing)
- Promote youth entrepreneurship programs. Support the Alberta Youth Entrepreneurship Camp and Student Business Services.
- To assist in the development and implementation of regional community economic development for the communities of Southeast Alberta.
- Assist communities in an effort to improve economic and community development by encouraging alliances between boards, councils, government agencies and communities within the region.
- Provide a higher level of service in the communities within the region which may be experiencing higher levels of instability.

Community Futures Entre-Corp Business Development has eight shareholder representatives appointed by the shareholders. These appointments carry a one term with no limits on the number of terms. The regional shareholders are made up of five communities and three Chambers of Commerce. An additional five representatives to the board are community appointments by the Board of Directors.
