Student Business Loans
Through this program we can help youth ages 15-29 obtain an interest-free loan of up to $3,000. Student entrepreneurs use this money to operate their own business during the summer months. The financing can be used for start-up costs and operating costs. These loans are interest free until October 15th of each calendar year, when repayment is due. To be eligible for this program you must be returning to school in the fall. Applications will be reviewed between April 1st and June 30th of each calendar year. Financing for approved applications is provided on a first come, first serve basis.
Western Youth Entrepreneurship Loans
Western Economic Diversification Canada has allocated money to assist youth in entrepreneurial ventures by giving them the opportunity to obtain a loan of up to $25,000. Along with the loan, business planning assistance is provided to the youth. These loans are repayable based on interest charged at competitive rates.
Youth ages 18-29 can apply for this loan with a completed business plan and the standard loan documents.
